ParticipantThanks for this, I found it really fascinating. Doing a little research I found this on the Ali-Kali mantra..
When we want to learn Tibetan mantras, we start with Ali Kali mantra.
It is the first mantra to sing when singing Tibetan healing mantras.According to Tibetan Healing traditions there are five chakras.
The throat chakra is the most important for mantra practice. The throat chakra has 16 petals. Each petal has a syllable. The visualisation of these two mantras is a beautiful red flower in our throat. We sing Ali Kali mantra is to purify the throat mantra and better our pronunciation. Ali mantra has 16 syllables and the union of all mantras Om.
Every syllable with the H is a longer note.Start by stretching your back and keep the back straight to keep the energy flowing.
Visualize a beautiful red flower in the throat.
From the throat this beautiful flower will radiate light and the stem and the root will grow downwards into all our limbs and body trunks. All the channels spread over our body.
Kali mantra purifies all our channels. There are 72.000 channels in the body.
24.000 in the center and 24.000 each on the left and right. We purify our throat chakra and connect all channels and chakras. We try to hook back all of our consciousness into the present moment.
To be aware of our bodily and energetically presence.(this is a clip of a series of mantras from the complete recording of the Tibetan Healing Concert of 20 November 2021)
Feel free to share with whoever might benefit from this.
