I grew up in San Francisco, California and live with my husband in Berkeley, California where we are part of the Nyingma community; I began learning Kum Nye here in the 1980’s as I sought to establish a meditation practice. For many years I taught English literature at Swarthmore College where I was once able to offer Kum Nye for physical ed credit in the wrestling room. I continue to teach classes in Psychology programs at various universities, and am also certified in Inner Relationship Focusing. I wish that all children around the world could learn Kum Nye so they could gain life-long tools for balance, relaxation, and joy.
